We have audited the Consolidated Financial Statements prepared by technotrans AG – comprising the Consolidated Balance Sheet, Consolidated Income Statement, Consolidated Statement of Recognised Income and Expense, Consolidated Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Movements in Equity and Notes – as well as its report on the situation of the company and the group for the financial year from January 1 to December 31, 2016. The preparation and the content of the Consolidated Financial Statements and Combined Management Report in accordance with IFRS as adopted by the EU, and in accordance with the supplementary requirements under commercial law pursuant to Section 315a (1) of German Commercial Code, are the responsibility of the company’s management. Our responsibility is to express an opinion on the Consolidated Financial Statements and Combined Management Report on the basis of our audit.
We conducted our audit of the Consolidated Financial Statements in accordance with Section 317 of German Commercial Code, observing the German generally accepted standards for the audit of financial statements promulgated by the Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer (IDW). Those standards require that we plan and perform the audit such that we can establish with reasonable assurance whether the representation of the financial position and financial performance, as reflected in the Consolidated Financial Statements in keeping with the applicable accounting standards, as well as in the Combined Management Report, contains any material misstatements and irregularities. Knowledge of the business activities and the economic and legal environment of the group as well as evaluations of possible misstatements are taken into account in the determination of audit procedures. The effectiveness of the internal accounting control system and the evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the Consolidated Financial Statements and Combined Management Report are examined predominantly on a test basis within the framework of the audit. The audit includes assessing the individual financial statements included in the Consolidated Financial Statements, the definition of the group, the accounting and consolidation principles used and significant estimates made by management, as well as evaluating the overall presentation of the Consolidated Financial Statements and Combined Management Report. We believe that our audit provides a reasonable basis for our opinion.
Our audit has not led to any reservations.
In our opinion, formed on the basis of our audit, the Consolidated Financial Statements are in accordance with IFRS, as adopted by the EU, as well as with the supplementary requirements under commercial law pursuant to Section 315a (1) of German Commercial Code and, on the basis of those requirements, give a true and fair view of the financial position and financial performance of the group. The Combined Management Report is in agreement with the Consolidated Financial Statements, complies with the statutory requirements, on the whole provides a suitable understanding of the group’s position and suitably presents the risks of future development.
